Doug Rump, originally from Dillsboro, is our newest Town Manager.

Rump’s resume includes 22 years at the Fernald Uranium Processing Plant where he served as Utilities Manager.  Most recently he was Director of Public Safety at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center for ten years.

“My experience in government operations combined with my civic engagement provides both the knowledge and passion to excel in this role” says Rump.  “I have a love of Dillsboro and would like to see it continue on a path of its rich history of community involvement….Dillsboro will always be my hometown”.
