News from the‘DogHouse

Local contributions matched by the South Dearborn Community School Corporation has allowed for the purchase of new basketball goals at Dillsboro Elementary. Four new goals will allow for more usage of the gym at peak times. Coach Jim Hughes said that the much needed goals will allow four teams to scrimmage at a time. The goals will adjust to accommodate for other activities in the gym.

Generous contributors include: Town of Dillsboro, Dillsboro SAL, Dave Kelly, South Dearborn Youth Basketball, Adams Cooling Towers, Grad and Kassie Adams, Friendship State Bank and Insurance, Dillsboro BP, Moore Funeral Homes, Dillsboro Legion, Janet’s Diner, Darren Cutter, Thompson Outdoor Power.

Best wishes to Mrs. Leeanne Maltbie on her retirement from DES!
