Sister Community Celebrates

Farmers Retreat is a neighboring community located in Caesar Creek Township, Dearborn County.

Dillsboro and Farmers Retreat have been connected for generations through our sharing of roads, schools and family. The hub of this small neighborhood is St. John’s Lutheran Church. The parish at one time included a school, which is now a pre-school. This year the congregation of St. John’s is celebrating 175 years.

On June 24, 2018 there will be special Anniversary services.

Sunday School - 9:00 am
Worship Service with Rev. Garry Wickert - 10:00 am
Meal following the Worship - 12:00 pm
Celebration Service with Rev. Mark Darnstaedt - 2:00 pm
